In consideration of being permitted to register for and attend the 5 Cities Plus Conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the conference and any associated on and off-site events and/or activities (collectively, the “Associated Events”).  Each registrant hereby voluntarily agrees, on behalf of themselves, their heirs and assigns, to forever waive and release and hold harmless, 5 Cities Plus, its affiliates and/or members (including the hosting entity The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District), partners, sponsors, exhibitors, contractors, employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, and vendors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, causes of action, or damages of any kind or nature, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to registrant’s attendance or participation in the conference and any Associated Events, including without limitation any personal injury, disability, death, damage to property, or illness (including any claims related to communicable diseases), whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of any Released Party, and regardless of whether the damage, injury or loss occurs on the premises of the conference, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or during event ground transportation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

By registering for and/or attending the 5 Cities Plus Conference, registrant agrees to grant full permission to 5 Cities Plus to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively, the “Images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, to use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes, and for any other lawful purpose related to 5 Cities Plus programs and activities. Registrant agrees that 5 Cities Plus is not responsible for unauthorized use of the Images and that the Images may appear with or without registrant’s name.  Registrant further acknowledges that they are not entitled to compensation and that 5 Cities Plus will own all rights, title and interest in the resulting Images and derivative works.

The views, opinions, and positions expressed on 5 Cities Plus social media sites and links to other Internet resources do not necessarily represent those of 5 Cities Plus or its organizers, hosts, sponsors, speakers, employers or affiliated agencies.  5 Cities Plus cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or reliability of information posted by third parties.

All participants in the conference shall conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, courtesy, and integrity in all conference activities.  Disruptive behavior, violence or threats of violence, harassment, discrimination, and other illegal behavior will not be tolerated.
